Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
Notsu is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe premium stationery should be shoppable by all, and we continually work to improve the accessibility and usability of notsubrand.com for every visitor.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These internationally recognized guidelines define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Measures We Take
- **Keyboard navigation:** Our site is designed to be fully navigable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- **Text alternatives:** Product and content images include descriptive alternative text so screen reader users receive the same information as sighted users.
- **Readable design:** We use clear typography, sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds, and a responsive layout that reflows gracefully when text is enlarged.
- **Structured content:** Pages use proper heading hierarchy and labeled form controls to support assistive technologies.
- **Ongoing review:** We periodically review the site for accessibility issues and address them as part of our regular site maintenance.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we are actively working to improve include:
- **Promotional popups:** Our newsletter signup popup can interrupt keyboard and screen-reader navigation. We are working to make its behavior less disruptive and its form fields explicitly labeled.
- **Auto-rotating announcements:** The announcement bar at the top of the page cycles through messages automatically. It can be dismissed, and we are evaluating adding a pause control.
- **Third-party features:** Certain embedded features (such as reviews widgets or payment interfaces) are provided by external vendors and may not fully meet our accessibility standards.
We welcome reports of specific barriers you encounter so we can prioritize fixes.
